Steep Rock Summer, 2018

In the fall of 2017 I decided to revisit a subject I worked with extensively twenty years ago. Steep Rock Preserve, in Washington, CT, is a beautiful river and forest park covering several thousand acres in three distinct sections. Previously I had photographed there with large format cameras and made contact prints in platinum/palladium. This time I wanted to work in a much looser, freer manner with small digital cameras, and then produce modest sized (7.3x11 inches) platinum/palladium prints.
