Carnival Color: In the late 1980s I made a series of photographs at The Coleman Brothers Show, a carnival that traveled around the New York and New England area each summer. I did the work on Kodachrome transparency film, but found that I couldn't get the quality I wanted from standard darkroom prints and couldn't afford the time or money to print them in dye transfer. Thirty years later, working from scans and current professional quality digital inkjet printers I was finally able to make the prints I wanted to all those years ago. by Carl Weese
